The charity Fund "Finist" has been established and enthusiastically working on the private funds of the Russian radiophysics scientist and businessman - Temur Amindzhanov .
Temur Amindzhanov, the President of SсPA Starline Ltd., and his partner - Sergey Vilsky, General Manager of SсPA Starline, started Charity work in 1992 , when the technical creativity of young talents in Russia really needed support.
Thousands of children practicing technical creativity in the Youth Creativity Palace in Saint Petersburg City Palace of Youth Creativity (Anichkov Palace) have been a part of this charity work. For more than 20 years sponsored clubs and study groups have been provided with necessary equipment, instruments, and consumables. The results of these fund's activity are hundreds of awards, medals, and medal places won by young talents at Russian and international competitions.
In 2013 Temur Amindzhanov met Sergey Filippov, the head of the Robotics Center of Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum № 239, one of the best specialists in robotics training. Successful collaboration lead to a new project - «FINIST» - a fund working with talented children of different age interested in robot engineering. Youth robotics science and FINIST fund have become a personal project of Mr. Temur Amindzhanov. It has required much more expenses than it was expected before. Temur Amindzhanov hopes the fund will bring good benefit to the whole country.
FINIST charity fund, ScPA StarLine Ltd., Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum № 239, and a group of enthusiasts have joined forces and created an exciting idea that is now realizing in active development of the Federal Program for encouraging and training young talents in robot engineering. International Robotics Festival «ROBOFINIST» is approved as an annual event. The festival allows to estimate the reached engineering level, enchance capacities, define new goals for the following year and to exchange experience with colleagues.
More than 20 000 children, young talents, got necessary knowledge and practical skills to realize their dreams to the glory of Homeland.
