The international festival "Robofinist" is one of the most important events for the robotic community and for our city in common. We are pleased about the fact that the name of Saint-Petersburg can firmly take root among fans of robotics from all over the world. Therefore the choice of the venue of the competitions had to be more than thorough. Our festival will be held in one of the largest and best exhibition areas in Russia — Lenexpo, pavilion 5 which is spread over 2 800 square metres. The historical value and importance of Vasilievsky island, the proximity of the Finish Gulf (guarantee fresh sea air), good transport access from all major sights of the city and the proximity of the Sea terminal has determined this choice.
How to get:
1. by car (on-site parking is free):
- from Tuchkov bridge — after the bridge drive straight for about 800 meters, turn right onto Grand Avenue (Bolshoi prospect) and drive to the end (about 3.3 km), then to the right on Nalichnaya street, go 500 meters (to the left you will see Lenexpo) before turning back on the Middle Avenue (Sredniy prospect).
- from Blagoveshchensky bridge — after the bridge keep left on the Lieutenant Schmidt's embankment and after 200 metres turn right on 8-9 line, at the next traffic light (after 300 meters) turn left on Grand Avenue (Bolshoi prospect) and drive to the end (approximately 2.7 km), then to the right on Nalichnaya street go 500 meters (to the left you will see Lenexpo) before turning back on the Middle Avenue (Sredniy prospect).
- From the Palace (Zimniy) bridge and the Exchange (Birzhevoy) bridge — you need to drive up to University embankment (from the Palace bridge — to the left, from the Exchange bridge — to the left and stay in the right lane) and continue straight until embankment's cross with 8-9 lines (about 1.5 km), turn right and at the next traffic light (after 300 meters) turn left on Grand Avenue (Bolshoi prospect) and drive to the end (approximately 2.7 km), then to the right on Nalichnaya street go 500 meters (to the left you will see Lenexpo) before turning back on the Middle Avenue (Sredniy prospect).
2. by public transport:
- from Primorskaya metro station — commercial buses к690, к359, к129, к183;
- from Vasileostrovskaya metro station — commercial bus к32б (k32b) (the stop is across the road from Lenexpo);
- from Gostinyi Dvor metro statiom (you need to go to the Nevsky prospect through the underground passage) — trolleybus 10 (the stop is across the street from Lenexpo).
